I am a creature of habit, sometimes to a fault! I found myself in the same routine with my salad dressing…well, lack thereof salad dressing. Olive oil, balsamic, salt, pepper, and call it day.
I realized I was craving more flavor and zest on my salads. Making your own salad dressing is an easy way to find excitement with a simple salad, plus you’ll get more nutritional benefits from the herbs and citrus.

Herb and Citrus Vinaigrette
INGREDIENTS
1 cup of avocado oil
1 bunch of chives
1 bunch of cilantro
Juice of 1 lemon
Juice of 1 lime
2-3 garlic cloves
1 tsp. of apple cider vinegar
Pinch of salt
Pinch of pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place all ingredients in a high-speed blender or food processer.
2. Blend until fully combined. Pour over salads or use as a marinade. Store in a Mason Jar in the fridge for 1-3 days.
